I wanted to be a CITYzen (get it?) and do random courses. Not because I didn’t know what I wanted to do but because I wanted to do so much. After a chat with parents I soon realized that this was not going to happen. “Engineering, IT or science”. Huh? What happened to making your own choices in life and the whole you can be whatever you wish to be thing? After a year I dropped out, no more Cobol for meJ.

I eventually ended up where I am to because of all of that and although it took longer than intended. If only. Taking one step from the top is likely to ensure a couple of bruises or broken bones. Standing on top for more than an hour will see me fall flat on my face. Sliding down the pole? Would’ve been so much easier. What if the top of the pole is level with the balcony of a flat or something. That would make the entire process so much easier.

To step to the top of the pole in the first place would be a mission in. Perhaps the pole has steps on the one side making it easy to get onto it and thus easy to get off it. If there are steps I would definitely take the steps. The pole may be buried in the ground with only one-foot sticking out above ground level. That would be easy. Without virtually any effort I would be able to get on it and off. In less than 10 seconds - new world record!

How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?
I
would guess the opposite way you got on top of that pole.Willy-John Gordonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15276685820108656983noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5681567798814262268.post-21618979714181017382009-05-03T16:18:00.000-07:002009-05-03T16:28:32.165-07:00We are what we do.

If someone was to say I am a funny, clumsy, food loving, brandy (Klipdrift - proudly Robertson) drinking, sneaker buying, Beatles fanatic, Long Street loving, great singing, very stylish, beer connoisseur, hard working, dedicated, loving, strong, open minded, opinionated, family loving, gentle, caring, Lauren C stalking, B-Tech Public Relations Management male student at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology I would be fine with the description. Is it the same colour as the rainbow when one can’t see it? Maybe it’s two shades darker. I doubt the wind simply doesn’t come across as two shades darker than the rainbow when one can’t see it. The wind could’ve been blue if the sky and ocean didn’t already take that colour. It’s an unwritten law of nature that only two thing may have the same colour. That explains why finding a red flower with red leaves is so hard. Blue is taken, so is green. Yellow? The wind is yellow! Doubt it. The wind colour of the wind could be like the colour of The Nothing that came and destroyed Fantasia or the song on the lane formerly known as east two blocks down from Sannie’s Spaza. Pocahontas aught to know she had that song about the wind and colour in her Disney movie. The wind is transparent but that’s not a colour is it? Is clear a colour? I want to paint my wall clear- definitely not clear.

Maybe the wind has no colour and this question is part of a conspiracy to get me blogging. Paul stormed out of the studio after an argument with the other Beatles and drove off in his car which he then crashed into a lamp post and died.

Paul McCartney was replaced with the winner of a Paul McCartney lookalike contest. The name of this lookalike has been recorded Billy Shears, the name of the fabricated leader of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Billy looked a lot like McCartney but there were a small number of differences. Amongst them the top lip had to be fattened up a little, but there was a doctor’s error which left a scar. At the end, the new McCartney was pretty much impossible to tell apart from the real McCartney.

After the release of the Beatles’ Abbey Road the rumour swept across America concerning the death of Paul McCartney. While this rumour was very popular on among fans respected news publications like the New York Times, Time Magazine, and Life Magazine also covered the story.
The cover of Abbey Road shows the Beatles walking across Abbey Road. John is dressed in white, as the preacher. George is dressed like the grave digger. Ringo is dressed as pallbearer, Paul, who is out of step, barefoot, and the only one holding a cigarette in his right hand when he is left handed, is obviously a corpse. George is dressed like the grave digger. A Volkswagen with the license plate is in the background that says “28 if” followed by “LMW.” Paul would have been 28 if he were alive LMV is said to stand for Linda McCartney Weeps.

According to several internet sites clues were left by the Beatles in the lyrics of several songs. The most common story includes the following pieces of evidence:
"He didn't notice that the lights had changed" ("A Day in the Life") because he was busy watching the pretty girl on the pavement (the eponymous meter maid of "Lovely Rita") after narrowly missing her dressed in blue (she's said to be the blur on the back of Abbey Road) jaywalking ("Blue Jay Way"). He then crashed into a lamp-post (a car crash sound is heard in "Revolution 9" and "A Day in the Life"). He was pronounced dead on a "Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock as the day begins" ("She's Leaving Home"), and nobody found out this because the news was withheld: "Wednesday morning papers didn’t come" ("Lady Madonna"). A funeral procession was held days later (as supposedly implied in the Abbey Road album cover). Adding fuel to the legend is the ending of "Strawberry Fields Forever." Some believed John said "I buried Paul" in a slow deep voice over the final refrain.

In the end the new McCartney could have fooled anyone, and eventually he did fool billions of us!
Willy-John Gordonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15276685820108656983noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5681567798814262268.post-83640989566936907992008-11-02T08:36:00.000-08:002008-11-02T09:28:09.381-08:00I was the eggman.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5264110301236897058" style="DISPLAY: block;
